AI: Growth का Engine

Jensen Huang का कहना है कि AI में growth का बहुत potential है। उनके मुताबिक, ये technology पिछले technology cycles से अलग है। AI एक platform shift है, जैसे PC, internet, और mobile cloud थे। इस नए platform पर नए applications बनाए जाएंगे।

असल में, AI को समझना बहुत आसान है। ये वो काम कर सकता है जो पहले कभी नहीं हो पाया। पहले software pre-recorded होता था, लेकिन अब AI real time में प्रक्रिया कर सकता है। ये unstructured information को समझ सकता है, जैसे image, text, और sound।

Jensen Huang के मुताबिक, AI एक five-layer cake की तरह है:

• Energy: AI को real time में intelligence generate करने के लिए energy चाहिए।
• Chips: ये layer Nvidia का है। इसमें chips और computing infrastructure शामिल हैं।
• Cloud Infrastructure: इसमें cloud services शामिल हैं।
• AI Models: ज़्यादातर लोग सोचते हैं कि AI यही है।
• Application Layer: ये वो layer है जहाँ economic benefit होता है। ये financial services, healthcare, या manufacturing में हो सकता है।

इस computing platform को सभी layers की ज़रूरत होती है। इसलिए ये human history का सबसे बड़ा infrastructure buildout है। इसमें trillions of dollars का investment होगा।

AI से Jobs: बढ़ेंगी या घटेंगी?

एक बड़ा सवाल ये है कि क्या AI से jobs कम होंगी? Jensen Huang का मानना है कि ऐसा नहीं होगा। उनका कहना है कि AI infrastructure buildout से बहुत jobs create होंगी।

वे कहते हैं कि AI से tradecraft, plumbers, electricians, construction workers, और network technicians की demand बढ़ेगी। United States में इन jobs की salaries doubled हो गई हैं।

Jensen Huang radiologists और nurses का मिसाल देते हैं। 10 साल पहले लोग सोचते थे कि AI radiologists की job ले लेगा। लेकिन आज AI हर radiology department में use होता है। इससे radiologists ज़्यादा patients को देख पाते हैं और hospitals ज़्यादा revenue generate कर पाते हैं। इसलिए ज़्यादा radiologists hire किए जा रहे हैं।

इसी तरह, AI nurses को charting और transcription में मदद करता है। इससे nurses ज़्यादा time patients के साथ बिता पाते हैं। इसलिए hospitals ज़्यादा nurses hire कर रहे हैं।

Emerging Economies के लिए AI

Jensen Huang का मानना है कि हर country को AI infrastructure में invest करना चाहिए। AI को train करना अब बहुत आसान हो गया है, और open models की मदद से हर country अपने हिसाब से AI develop कर सकता है।

वे कहते हैं कि AI use करना बहुत आसान है, और ये technology divide को कम कर सकता है। AI की मदद से हर कोई programmer बन सकता है।

Europe और AI

Jensen Huang का कहना है कि Europe के पास industrial base बहुत strong है। इसलिए Europe को AI में early invest करना चाहिए ताकि वो अपनी manufacturing capability को improve कर सके। Europe deep sciences में भी strong है, और AI की मदद से discovery को accelerate किया जा सकता है।

इसलिए Europe को अपनी energy supply बढ़ानी चाहिए ताकि वो AI infrastructure में invest कर सके।

क्या AI bubble है? Jensen Huang का मानना है कि ऐसा नहीं है। उनका कहना है कि AI में काफ़ी investment हो रहा है, लेकिन हमें global economy को improve करने के लिए और investment करने की ज़रूरत है।
